Archbishop Holgate’s School is a Voluntary Aided Church of England School and a College of Science and Applied Learning. We are committed to an ethos where Christian values are lived into being. Our aim is for each member of the school community to be known as an individual and cared for as an individual. We seek maximum achievement for each pupil at all levels. We seek to offer an environment which is ordered, hard-working, secure and caring and in which pupils can take pride in their achievements. Our OFSTED inspection report described Archbishop Holgate’s as “an outstanding school which provides an excellent quality of education and care for its pupils with progress and achievement which is significantly higher than expected.”
